INSOLVENCY AND ENFORCEMENT

Vukelić Law Office (VLO) regularly represents clients in bankruptcy and prebankruptcy procedures, as well as in enforcement matters. Luka Vukelić has years of experience in advising clients in prebankcrupty and bankruptcy matters, and management of large number of enforcement cases for one of the largest Croatian banks, as well as in enforcement of claims on numerous objects (RE, rights, monetary funds, concessions). 

In 2014, Luka Vukelic co-authored an article for EBRD’s magazine “Law in transition”, titled “Trends in corporate restructuring – Croatia and Serbia examined and contrasted”. As of 2023, VLO is a member of INSOL Europe, an organisation of professionals specialising in insolveny, business reconstruction and recovery.

ENERGY LAW

Luka Vukelic is experienced in providing legal advice in the energy sector, primarily in matters related to electricity, gas and renewables, and in drafting different agreements (PPA, FSA…). 

In 2020, Luka Vukelic co-authored a paper titled “Regulatory frameworks related to electricity and gas infrastructure: Croatia in the context of European Union” which was published by "Pravo i Financije", an expert magazine of Effectus College for Law and Finance, available on “HRČAK” – the central portal of Croatian scientific and professional journals.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

VLO provides various services in the IP area, from registering and renewing trademarks, representation before the Croatian SIPO and EUIPO, to consulting on different IP matters. 

VLO is associated with a Croatian IP and media law expert Pavao Krmpotić, and an international law firm specialized in IP headquartered in London.  

BANKING AND FINANCING

Luka Vukelic represented domestic and international clients in various banking and financing matters (refinancing, syndicated loans, etc.) during his career, on both the lender side and the borrower side.
